  • Include HSSE performance in employee appraisal and incentives
  • Use training as a motivational and skill development tool to ensure that employees are competent and adequately equipped to do their work safely
  • Involve employees in development of programmes and processes
  • Require contractors, partners and service providers to manage their HSSE affairs in line with this policy
  • Periodically review and update policy in response to business needs for continual improvement
  • Publish, issue and explain policy to all employees
